Maintaining this level of cosmic power comes with a heavy price. Superman’s King Omega abilities are burning out fast and he’s essentially using a dying battery to jumpstart an entire universe. Every fixed anomaly or saved life drains his godhood further. There’s a real danger he’ll lose his powers entirely before the job is finished. If that happens, he’ll be stuck, powerless, stranded at the literal end of time.
Eddy Barrows is giving this cosmic race a massive, cinematic feel that highlights the scale of the stakes. It’s a race against entropy where the Man of Tomorrow might finally run out of time.
