DNX Reading Order: How to Read the X-Men and Fantastic Four X-Virus Event

August 9, 2026

This September, the X-Virus threatens to mutate all of mankind in DNX, the five-issue event series by Jed MacKay and Federico Vicentini. But the X-Men aren’t alone in dealing with this seismic threat, joining forces with the Fantastic Four to try stop the clandestine group known as 3K from forcibly transforming all of humanity into mutants.

Now, as the Marvel Universe braces for impact, get ready for DNX with the official reading guide, spanning prelude issues, tie-ins, as well as the main event. DNX is pretty tight,” shared MacKay to AIPT. “AGE OF REVELATION was depicting a whole changed world, and there was a lot of space to explore there. In contrast, DNX has a very tight focus on our characters and their conflicts over a very short time. Aside from the DNX event series, the tie-ins will be the issues of X-MEN (2024) and FANTASTIC FOUR (2025that come out in those months.”
