The hype for Superman/Spider-Man #1 is officially off the charts. DC just confirmed that this historic crossover event is heading back to the printers. It’s hard to overstate how quickly these first printings are vanishing from shelves. If you didn’t snag a copy yet, you’ve got another shot. This isn’t a simple restock of the original art, either. DC is rolling out a fresh set of visuals to celebrate the demand for this meeting between the Man of Steel and the Web-Slinger.

The first printing of DC’s Superman/Spider-Man #1 is available at local comic shops while supplies last, and demand for this historic crossover continues to surge. DC will return the issue to press for a second printing of Superman/Spider-Man #1, arriving in comic shops on May 27.

The second printing of Superman/Spider-Man #1 will feature a new main cover by Dan Mora, along with open-to-order variant covers by Gabriele Dell’Otto (foil), Jorge Jimenez, and Yasmine Putri.

Originally released on March 25, Superman/Spider-Man #1 celebrates the 50th anniversary of the classic Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man crossover with a new collection of stories from some of the most acclaimed creators in comics. The lead story, “Truth, Justice, and Great Responsibility,” is written by Mark Waid with art by Jorge Jimenez, bringing Clark Kent and Peter Parker together as they uncover a conspiracy that pulls Superman and Spider-Man into a universe-spanning threat involving Brainiac and Doctor Octopus.

The one-shot also features an all-star lineup of bonus tales by Tom King and Jim Lee; Matt Fraction and Steve Lieber; Sean Murphy; Gail Simone and Belen Ortega; Christopher Priest and Daniel Sampere; Greg Rucka and Nicola Scott; Jeff Lemire and Rafa Sandoval; and more, making Superman/Spider-Man #1 one of the most creator-packed releases of the year.

Retailers can place orders for Superman/Spider-Man #1 Second Printing beginning April 13.
