Since his debut as a Young Avenger, Wiccan has become one of Marvel’s most beloved heroes. Now, following his live-action appearance in Agatha All Along, he’s finally getting his own moment in the spotlight.
This December, Marvel is launching Wiccan: Witches’ Road, a five-issue limited series that will explore his immense mystical powers and his heroic legacy. The story begins with a wounded Hulkling, who forces Wiccan to travel down the perilous Witches’ Road to save him. Along the way, he’ll face a new enemy and uncover his true purpose in the magical hierarchy of the Marvel Universe.
The series is written by Wyatt Kennedy and features art by rising star Andy Pereira in his Marvel Comics debut. Pereira shared his excitement, calling this opportunity “a childhood dream.” Both the writer and artist are thrilled to dive deep into who Wiccan is as an individual and what it truly means for him to hold the title of Wiccan.
The series’ first issue will feature stunning covers from artists like Lucas Werneck, Russell Dauterman, and Luciano Vecchio.
