Marvel Comics is celebrating the 70th anniversary of The Muppets with a series of hilarious variant covers! This October, Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the whole gang will be spoofing some of Marvel’s most iconic moments in 10 different comic books.
Talented Marvel artists have created these homages, which feature classic Muppets characters in iconic scenes. You’ll see The Electric Mayhem as the Avengers and Miss Piggy herself wielding the Infinity Gauntlet. There are even covers that parody the first appearance of Spider-Man and the classic SECRET WARS storyline.
These variant covers are a must-have for both Muppets and Marvel fans. They’re bursting with the signature humor and chaos of the Muppets and are available at your local comic shop throughout October.
On October 1, Marvel is set to release Amazing Spider-Man #13, with art by Dave Bardin, and Venom #250, illustrated by Nick Bradshaw. The following week, on October 8, fans can look forward to Amazing Spider-Man: Torn #1 by Javier Garrón, Avengers #31 by Luciano Vecchio, and Spider-Man & Wolverine #6 by Greg Land.
Later in the month, on October 15, the release of Amazing Spider-Man #14 with art from Joshua Cassara, Captain America #4 by Annie Wu, and Incredible Hulk #30 by Chrissie Zullo will take place. Finally, rounding out the month on October 22, are Fantastic Four #4 from Todd Nauck and Battleworld #2 by Paco Medina.
