A brand-new one-shot is coming this November to celebrate Native American Heritage Month, and it’s shining a spotlight on one of Marvel’s fan-favorite heroes: Echo! Written by Taboo (of the Black Eyed Peas) and B. Earl, with art by Jim Terry and a cover by Echo’s co-creator David Mack, Echo: Seeker of Truth follows Echo on a new adventure. The story sends Echo to Los Angeles to search for her missing cousin. As she digs for answers, she uncovers a mysterious cult and a shocking secret about her legacy.
This new revelation will unlock a mysterious new power for Echo, completely redefining her role in the Marvel Universe. Taboo said it was a “super power or strength” to get to write another story for the character. B. Earl added that the creative team worked hard to give Echo a new power that would honor her past while also moving her forward in an exciting new direction.
