This December, Marvel Comics is launching its first-ever True Believers Blind Bags with the highly anticipated debut of Ultimate Endgame #1. Announced at San Diego Comic-Con, Ultimate Endgame is a five-issue series written by Deniz Camp with art by Terry Dodson and Jonas Scharf. But the big news is how you’ll get your hands on the first issue.
Instead of traditional comic covers, Ultimate Endgame #1 will be sold in sealed blind bags. Each bag features exclusive Rod Reis art and contains one of many possible covers. This is a thrilling new way for collectors to hunt for rare variants, as some covers—including secret, unrevealed ones—are exclusive to these blind bags. It’s a fun and exciting way for comic shops to create a buzz with their customers.
The blind bags will contain a wide range of cover art from top artists like Mark Brooks, Derrick Chew, Peach Momoko, and Skottie Young. Among them are rare variants you can only get by taking a chance on a blind bag, making it a true treasure hunt.
The comic itself is a major event. Ultimate Endgame will see the return of the Maker, who has been imprisoned for two years.
