Origin Boxes are coming! Marvel’s latest crossover event, ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN: INCURSION, is about to have a major impact on the main Marvel Universe. In the final issue, Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion #5, Miles Morales will return to his home universe carrying a secret weapon: Origin Boxes.
What are these mysterious boxes? They’re devices created by the Maker, the villain of the new Ultimate Universe, to grant heroes and villains their powers. Each box holds the “catalysts” needed to give a person a familiar power set from the Ultimate Universe.
Starting on October 22, the same day Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion #5 is released, the first Origin Box will appear in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #39. Over the course of 2026, these boxes will be scattered throughout the Marvel Universe, kicking off new storylines and introducing all-new heroes and villains.
This is a big deal for Marvel fans, as these Origin Boxes will shape the future of the comics for years to come.
