A terrifying new chapter for the Hulk is about to begin. Writers Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Nic Klein, the creative team behind Incredible Hulk (2023), are launching Infernal Hulk #1 this November. This new series follows a monstrous new storyline that was teased in Incredible Hulk #30, where the Hulk had an epic rematch with the Eldest, the firstborn of the Mother of Horrors.
In this next installment, the villainous Eldest literally rips Bruce Banner and the Hulk apart, taking over the Hulk’s body to become the “Infernal Hulk.” This new, unstoppable monster is ten times more terrifying than the Hulk has ever been. The Eldest’s plan is to unleash a new “Age of Monsters” by transforming Marvel heroes into nightmarish beasts, plunging the entire universe into ancient horrors. Now powerless, Bruce Banner must find a way to stop the Eldest and its diabolical plan.
Johnson promises that Infernal Hulk will bring the biggest change in the character’s history, not only for the Hulk but for the entire Marvel Universe. This is a story that goes back to the very foundations of the Earth, introducing monsters bigger and more powerful than anything we’ve seen before.
