Fans of Peach Momoko’s stunning and imaginative Demon Days Saga have reason to celebrate! Sai, her immensely popular reimagining of Psylocke, is finally getting her own limited comic book series this January: SAI: DIMENSIONAL RIVALS.

Sai first appeared in DEMON DAYS: X-MEN #1 back in 2021, instantly capturing imaginations as a psychic warrior fighting Yokai in a fantastical feudal Japan. This bold take on the X-Men’s telepathic ninja, Psylocke, even served as the inspiration for the breakout version of Psylocke featured in the Marvel Rivals video game.

Now, Momoko is bringing Sai back and expanding her world beyond the “Momoko-verse.” This five-issue adventure promises a thrilling journey across a new, creator-driven Multiverse as Sai searches for a unique set of Infinity Stones!

SAI: DIMENSIONAL RIVALS #1

Momoko is assembling a powerhouse lineup of superstar creators to join her in telling this multi-part, almost dreamlike story. She’ll be writing and drawing alongside talents like Stan Sakai, Esad Ribić, Natacha Bustos, Mike del Mundo, and Sara Pichelli, promising a true spectacle unlike anything else in comics.

Peach Momoko shared her excitement about the project and the collaborative process:

“I’m happy to start a new comic about Sai with artists I’ve met at comic events and through work and now consider friends. For this series, Sai will be the main character. I asked various artists to have fun depicting Sai in their own unique vision. Sai will be traveling between different universes and having different experiences based on each artist’s own perspectives. I think it will be a wonderful collaboration and I hope everyone enjoys Sai’s new charm!”

SAI: DIMENSIONAL RIVALS #1, featuring writing and art by Peach Momoko and Stan Sakai, hits shelves on January 14th. Get ready for a multi-dimensional ride!
