The clock is ticking on one of Marvel’s most ambitious sagas! The final chapter of the acclaimed Ultimate Universe begins on December 31 with the debut of ‘Ultimate Endgame’ #1.
This five-issue event is the explosive culmination of the Ultimate Universe line, which has captivated readers over the last two years. Written by Deniz Camp (of ULTIMATES (2024)) and featuring art from superstar artists Jonas Scharf and Terry Dodson, the series brings together all the threads of the Ultimate titles (ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN, ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER, ULTIMATE X-MEN, ULTIMATES, and ULTIMATE WOLVERINE) for one final, epic confrontation. The enemy? None other than the Maker, the twisted architect who first brought this universe into being.
Deniz Camp gave fans a hint of the drama to come, stating: “ULTIMATE ENDGAME is the culmination of everything Jon [Hickman] began in ULTIMATE INVASION, and also what I’ve been doing with Juan [Frigeri] and Federico [Blee] in Ultimates… I’m excited to bring these stories some resolution with the freedom that’s only possible in the Ultimate Universe; I’m excited that I get to let each story develop naturally, according to what the stories and characters need. We want to pack every page with the beautiful, the tragic, the funny, the astonishing, the devastatingly quiet, and the bombastically loud.”
To commemorate this monumental conclusion, ULTIMATE ENDGAME #1 is launching with True Believers Blind Bags, Marvel’s first-ever Blind Bag program! Fans can purchase the issue in sealed bags, meaning they won’t know which cover they’ve snagged until they open it. The bags will include a chance at several Blind Bag Exclusive variants, including rare, one-of-a-kind hand-drawn sketch covers.

These boxes are poised to kick off new storylines and introduce new heroes in the months following Ultimate Endgame.
