This December, writer Ryan North and artist Humberto Ramos are kicking off a major new arc in FANTASTIC FOUR #6 that introduces a terrifying new foe: THE INVINCIBLE WOMAN (MALICE)!
This “Invincible Woman” is a twisted, alternate reality version of the Invisible Woman, driven mad by her immense power and haunted by a profound, tragic mistake. If she reminds you of a classic villain, you’re not wrong! She directly recalls Malice, Sue Storm’s dark persona, first unleashed by Psycho-Man during the legendary John Byrne run.
This isn’t just a blast from the past, though. After Sue’s iconic Malice costume became a highly sought-after item in the Marvel Rivals video game, FANTASTIC FOUR #6 will feature a special promotion! Every copy will include a redeem code for players to unlock an exclusive new in-game “MALICE WILL RULE” spray. Plus, look for new covers for issues #6-8, including a Hidden Gem variant by Malice creator John Byrne himself, and a special Marvel Rivals variant.
The action kicks off with an ominous message decoded from the very fabric of reality: “GET SUE STORM. SO SAYS GALACTUS!”
Suddenly, Sue is the most wanted hero in the cosmos, making both her and Earth a prime target for invasion. The Fantastic Four will venture into space, answering Galactus’ cryptic call to uncover the mystery of the INVINCIBLE WOMAN. This journey will force Sue to confront terrifying possibilities about her powers that she’s never even dared to imagine. Back on Earth, the junior Fantastic Four will step up to protect the planet in the main team’s absence!
The story begins with a bang in FANTASTIC FOUR #6, as extremophile aliens invade Earth with a diabolical plan: to stop the planet’s rotation and create a deadly, colonized hot side. The FF are Earth’s only hope, but can their powers actually stop a planetary rotation? Meanwhile, the Wizard takes advantage of the chaos to launch an attack on the Baxter Building, leading to a discovery that could change the fate of the Fantastic Four forever.
As writer Ryan North puts it, “The true danger of the Fantastic Four was never an evil Reed Richards—it’s an unchained Susan Storm.”
