Just when we thought we’d seen it all with the Deadpool/Batman crossover earlier this year, DC and Marvel just blasted into the digital space with a massive, totally unexpected drop. That’s right, they just stealth-launched TWO new digital-first crossover webcomics, and they’re available right now!
First up, on DC UNIVERSE INFINITE, we’ve got The Flash/Fantastic Four. Picture this: Barry Allen tearing through the Speed Force with Marvel’s First Family (the Fantastic Four) to stop the mind-bending menace of Gorilla Grodd. Seriously, high-speed, high-stakes action from writer Jeremy Adams and artist Adrián Gutiérrez. It’s an exclusive DC GO! one-shot, and you can jump into it today.
But wait, there’s more! Over on Marvel Unlimited, they countered with an epic team-up: Thor/Shazam! This Infinity Comics one-shot by Al Ewing and Jethro Morales brings the thunder—literally! Donald Blake and Billy Batson are teaming up to save the magic of both universes from a “familiar face” (ooh, mysterious!).
Here’s the killer news for your wallet: both of these vertical-scroll webcomics are FREE to read with registration for the next 30 days. After that, they go behind the subscription paywalls.
And speaking of subscriptions, to celebrate this epic digital team-up, DC and Marvel are offering their current paid subscribers in the U.S. a 30-day free trial to the other service. So, if you’re rocking DCUI, you can get a free month of Marvel Unlimited, and vice versa. Keep an eye on your email for those sweet, sweet codes.
Oh, and if you loved Deadpool/Batman, the print version is dropping on November 19th, and it will be available digitally on DCUI starting December 17th.
Basically, DC and Marvel just kicked off a brand new, electric phase of crossovers, and they’re doing it digitally. We also have two additional digital crossovers scheduled for 2026. Time to register and start reading.
