The legendary collaboration between DC and Marvel is far from over. The two titans of the industry are extending their cross-company publishing initiative through 2026, kicking off a celebration timed perfectly for the 50th anniversary of one of the most iconic team-ups in history: Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man.
The celebration starts early in 2026 with some magnificent reprints from DC that pay tribute to the original crossovers:
- January 7, 2026: Look for the Treasury Edition 50th Anniversary of Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man #1. This is a massive, facsimile reprint of the groundbreaking comic that first brought the Man of Tomorrow and the Web-Slinger together.
- February 4, 2026: DC will follow up with another reprint, DC and Marvel Present: Superman and Spider-Man Treasury Edition #1, which is a facsimile of Marvel Treasury Edition #28, bringing another classic, out-of-print adventure back to the shelves.
These legacy reprints pave the way for what we’re all waiting for: brand-new crossover comic books arriving in the spring of 2026!
- March 2026: DC will publish Superman/Spider-Man #1.
- April 2026: Marvel Comics will publish Spider-Man/Superman #1.
