San Diego Comic-Con 2025 just got a whole lot more revelatory! Marvel Comics dropped major bombshells at their X-Men panel, offering fans an in-depth look at “Age of Revelation,” the next monumental X-Men saga. Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski, X-Men Conductor Tom Brevoort, and creator David Marquez were on hand to pull back the curtain on this epic event, set to kick off in October. They shared first looks, cover reveals, and exciting details about the titles that will lead into and define this universe-altering storyline.
“Age of Revelation” takes us 10 years into a grim future where the X-Men’s world has been turned upside down. The central catalyst? None other than Doug Ramsey, who, after being chosen as Apocalypse’s heir, has created a twisted vision of “survival of the fittest.” In his “Revelation Territories,” only mutants are deemed fit to survive, while a mysterious X-Virus ravages the rest of Earth. Doug and his “Choristers” wield absolute power, but the fragile foundations of their mutant utopia are starting to crack, stirring the flames of rebellion.
The far-reaching impact of “Age of Revelation” will reshape the entire Marvel Universe, and fans can expect to see how their favorite X-Men and superheroes have fared in this dark future. Marvel also unveiled details for several second issues of the “Age of Revelation” series, set to hit shelves in November.
