Here’s a quick rundown of Marvel January 2026 Solicitations, what we noticed, and what we think is worth keeping an eye on:
New Launches and Milestones
The absolute biggest news rolling out in January is the launch of Iron Man #1. Tony Stark’s getting a fresh start with superstar writer Joshua Williamson and artist Carmen Carnero. We’re talking classic, mighty Marvel storytelling here, with a compelling hook: Tony, the genius who built the armor to survive death once, is now haunted by what weapon he’ll build the next time death comes knocking… or what happens if a foe like Madame Masque, backed by A.I.M., builds it first. It’s a huge debut you won’t want to miss.
Right alongside that, hitting a major landmark is Avengers #34, which is also Legacy #800! Big anniversary issues mean big events, and this one promises the climax of Myrddin’s Endgame and a shocking reveal of Kang at the precipice of a new universe. Plus, they’re teasing a surprise creative team return from the Avengers’ past, so get ready for fireworks.
The Ultimate Universe Finale is Here
If you’ve been following the Ultimate saga, January is pay-off time, with the whole thing barreling toward its conclusion. The main event is Ultimate Endgame #2 (of 5), where heroes like Spider-Man, America Chavez, Killmonger, and Doom are scrambling to stop the Maker. Things get intense when Iron Lad makes a stunning and heartbreaking discovery that could change the fate of the entire Ultimate Universe forever. But that’s not the only Ultimate action wrapping up; Ultimate Black Panther #24 is the epic finale of that series, pitting T’Challa against the Progenitors in a world-shaking showdown for vibranium and Wakanda.
Meanwhile, Ultimate Wolverine #13 is Logan’s entry into the Endgame, hunting down the Maker’s Council to exact revenge for turning his life into a living nightmare, and Ultimates #20 digs deep into the secrets of the Nick Fury LMDs and H.A.N.D. following the Ultimate Universe: One Year In setup. And, for a 616 crossover, Miles Morales: Spider-Man #42 sees the Ultimate Universe collide with the 616 in the grand finale of the Rabble saga!
X-Men and Mutant Mayhem
The X-titles are shifting gears with some exciting new stuff and wrap-ups, too. The fallout from Age of Revelation continues in X-Men #23 and #24. Issue #23 features an epilogue where an X-Man stranded in the future’s past sees what their future counterpart has been up to in their present body—classic, continuity-shaking time travel shenanigans! Issue #24 then deals with the revitalization of the gene-terrorist group 3K. For something completely new, a brand-new team is blazing into battle with Inglorious X-Force #1! Cable is back from the future with fragmented memories, and he’s leading Hellverine, Archangel, and Boom-Boom on an assassination mission, so expect a high-octane mystery and the most extreme thrill ride in X-dom.
For a sweet throwback, check out Psylocke: Ninja #1 (of 5), a lost story flashing back to when Betsy Braddock was reborn as a killing machine by The Hand, and how it ties into Elektra, their former assassin. And finally, Logan: Black, White & Blood #1 is a stylish return for the fan-favorite format, giving you brutal, new Wolverine stories by top-tier talent in that striking black, white, and red color palette.
Sci-Fi, Sorcery, and Street-Level Threats
Beyond the main heroes, there are a ton of diverse and cool launches happening. Knull #1 (of 5) marks the Return of the King in Black! Weakened and caged by an unexpected enemy, the God of the Void is waiting for his moment and a greater weapon to take his revenge. If you like your heroes in a lethal labyrinth, Dungeons of Doom #1 (of 3) throws Marvel’s heavy hitters into a deadly underground maze after the events of One World Under Doom. It’s a terrifying game of survival to see who makes it out. For something totally different, the K-pop star and ice-wielding hero hits the road in Luna Snow: World Tour #1. Her music career is at a low point, and she has to shift into hero mode to defend her fans against a new K-pop star whose music is criminally catchy!
On the art front, Peach Momoko expands her beautiful, dreamlike vision with SAI: Dimensional Rivals #1 (of 5), taking the character Sai on a unique journey through the Multiverse. Over in the main continuity, Fantastic Four #7 turns Sue Storm into the universe’s most wanted woman after a hidden message is decoded, making Earth a target for invasion. The FF is building a fantastic new spacecraft to voyage into the unknown, leaving Earth’s families—including the Junior Fantastic Four—undefended. Finally, the Hulk is represented with two titles: Hulk: Smash Everything #2 has the Green Goliath smashing history (hello, prehistoric dinosaurs!), while Infernal Hulk #3 promises the long-awaited revelation of Bruce Banner’s fate and guest-stars Iron Man. Marvel is not messing around in January 2026.
