December at DC Comics is a full-on holiday brawl with some of the biggest heroes squaring off, huge anniversaries, and collector-worthy releases. Get ready to wrap up the year with a bang, because the shelves are packed with everything from explosive fight-themed events to classic reprints and major milestone issues.
Here’s a quick rundown of DC December 2025 Solicitations, what we noticed, and what we think is worth keeping an eye on:
All Fight Month: The DC K.O. Takeover
December is officially “All Fight Month” at DC, with a huge DC K.O. takeover featuring eight one-shot comics that pit your favorite heroes against unknown opponents. We’re talking about Superman vs. [Redacted] #1, Wonder Woman vs. [Redacted] #1, Harley Quinn vs. [Redacted] #1, and a brutal finale in Red Hood vs. [Redacted] #1. It’s the kind of high-stakes fighting you don’t want to miss.
In other action-packed titles, Knightfight #2 throws Bruce Wayne into a brutal gauntlet against future versions of himself, while the core monthly books are heating up. Batman #4 dives into a massive conspiracy, Wonder Woman #28 turns a former joke of a villain into a serious threat, and Action Comics #1093 brings Superman back to his Smallville roots for a fight that superpowers can’t solve.
Harley Quinn Hits a Huge Milestone
Mark your calendars because Harley Quinn #200 is a “clownstravaganza”! This oversized anniversary issue features the return of original artists Terry and Rachel Dodson and promises a chaotic, fun-filled celebration. It’s a huge milestone for the character and a must-read for fans. Meanwhile, her partner in crime (and love) gets her own moment in Poison Ivy #39 as she invites a friend for a dinner you won’t want to be late for.
The Absolute Universe and Elseworlds Expand
The Absolute Universe continues to be a major force, with several key issues dropping. Absolute Batman #15 finally introduces the Joker into this universe, while Absolute Wonder Woman #15 kicks off a two-part crossover with Batman in Gotham. You’ll also find Absolute Superman #14 in a final battle for Smallville’s soul and new mysteries in Absolute Flash #10, Absolute Green Lantern #9, and Absolute Martian Manhunter #7. Finally, Absolute Batman: Ark M Special #1 introduces the origins of the enigmatic Ark M!
Beyond the main continuity, the Elseworlds and other universes are thriving. In Gotham by Gaslight #6, our Victorian heroes face off against a menace more powerful than anything they’ve ever seen: Darkseid. Batman/Static: Beyond #2 introduces a brand-new villain to the Beyond-era, and World’s Finest #46 escalates its massive “The Merger” storyline with the Joker and Lex Luthor.
New Story Arcs and Ongoing Series
The action doesn’t stop there. Detective Comics #1104 finds Batman’s allies failing to cure a deadly anti-fear virus, forcing the Dark Knight to turn to one of his deadliest foes for help. Over in Batman and Robin #28, the Dynamic Duo races to stop a new foe called the Quiet Man from carrying out a vendetta against the Ventriloquist.
Birds of Prey #28 brings the team’s saga to a close as they face one final fight to save Gotham from a collapsing Unreality. Fans of the Flash will get a crossover they never saw coming in The Flash #28, part of the DC K.O. lineup. And in JSA #14, a new hero joins the team as they deal with intrigue from the Fifth Columnists.
Collections and Facsimiles for Your Shelf
For collectors, prepare your bookshelves for a heavy haul. This December brings some serious heavy hitters. You can grab the Crisis on Infinite Earths: Absolute Edition with a behind-the-scenes companion, The Joker: The Bronze Age Omnibus, and The Invisibles Compendium.
For a dose of nostalgia, DC is also releasing several Facsimile Editions of classic comics, including Sensation Comics #38, where Wonder Woman plays Santa and the iconic first appearance of Two-Face in Detective Comics #66. These are perfect for those who want to own a piece of comic history.
Between the action-packed DC K.O. events, major anniversaries, and must-have collections, December is shaping up to be a massive month for DC fans.
