The Sentry returns to battle his worst enemy — the monster within!
This March, Bob Reynolds makes his grand return to the Marvel Universe in the all-new SENTRY series. Penned by the character’s co-creator, Paul Jenkins, with art by rising star Christian Rosado, Sentry must face his own inner demons made manifest in the Void.
“Void and Sentry are an essential part of Bob Reynolds,” shared series writer Paul Jenkins to IGN. “This time, we are exploring the internal conflict that Bob faces, how he cannot become the Sentry and save 100 people from a plane crash without the Void equaling things out and killing 100 people in return.”
The preview for the upcoming SENTRY #1 opens with a press conference as his colleagues, the Avengers, reintroduce the Golden Guardian to the world. Later, the Sentry swoops in with Thor, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel to rescue civilians from being totaled by an incoming tidal wave. But this good deed does not go unnoticed by the Void…
