The countdown to Marvel’s next massive event is on. While ARMAGEDDON officially launches this summer, the crucial groundwork is already being laid. This March, fans can get a jump start on the action with newly revealed details for WOLVERINE: WEAPONS OF ARMAGEDDON #2 and CAPTAIN AMERICA #8.
Writer Chip Zdarsky is at the helm of this upcoming event. He is currently building the foundation in his acclaimed CAPTAIN AMERICA run (joined by artists Valerio Schiti, Delio Diaz, and Frank Alpizar) and collaborating with artist Luca Maresca on the four-issue prelude series, WOLVERINE: WEAPONS OF ARMAGEDDON, which spins directly out of recent events in Captain America and Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion.

WOLVERINE: WEAPONS OF ARMAGEDDON #2 The prelude heats up as Logan’s search for a missing Super-Soldier goes off the rails. Deep secrets connecting Wolverine, Nuke, and the mysterious Dave Colton are bubbling to the surface. As the solicitation asks: “Can Logan survive when the ghosts of his past are armed and ready for war?”
CAPTAIN AMERICA #8 THE HUNT FOR SALVATION ON THE ROAD TO ARMAGEDDON! Steve Rogers has joined forces with the LATVERIAN LIBERATORS to take down the violent insurgent leader SALVATION and his TRUE LATVERIA army. Despite internal friction and a villain who won’t back down, Cap is determined to free Latveria from Salvation’s grip.
