We believe that a great comic is a symphony of moving parts. While we love a good script and sharp pencils, KPB is dedicated to highlighting the entire creative team—especially the essential work of colorists and letterers who breathe life into every page.

Our Philosophy We review with our gut. Our goal isn’t just to tell you what happens, but to convey how a story feels. To match that energy, we’ve added to the standard 1-10 scale with the KPB Impact Meter:

  • SPLAT: A swing and a miss.

  • ZAP: It exists, but lacks spark.

  • WHAM: A strong, solid read.

  • KABOOM: The highest honor—a perfect storm of storytelling.
