Acclaimed comic creator James Tynion IV and his Tiny Onion studio have announced the initial dates for “Corpse Tour ’25,” a signing tour supporting the launch of their new Image Comics horror series, Exquisite Corpses.
The tour will see Tynion and members of the creative team (“Corpse Crew”) visit comic shops across North America, coinciding with the release of the first six issues. The tour begins in Los Angeles at Revenge Of on May 16th.
Tynion noted the tour’s ambitious scale, stating his excitement to visit numerous shops over the next 13 months alongside his collaborators.
Each tour stop is planned as a unique event, featuring Q+A sessions, signings, and a pop-up shop with exclusive tour merchandise. According to Tiny Onion’s Director of Communications, Jazzlyn Stone, the aim is to bring the collaborative energy behind the comic directly to fans, with each event tailored to its host store.
The Los Angeles launch on May 16th will be a special “Exquisite Release Party” featuring extended creator signings (including Tynion, Alex Pardee, Michael Walsh, and more), exclusive merchandise, themed refreshments, and flash tattoos.
Exquisite Corpses centers on a deadly game where 12 killers are unleashed on a small town every five years, forcing the residents into a fight for survival. The comic employs a collaborative “exquisite corpse” structure, with different creators handling parts of the story sequentially.
The first issue, a 60-page special, releases on May 14th ($4.99). A $6.99 variant includes an exclusive game card.
